I got my car from Grandma Jo!!
We had a beautiful baby girl!!!!!!
Denna broke her leg (had it in a cast for 4 months!)
Michael got a better job.
We moved again.
I started a play group.
The apartment episode...ugh we won't relive that!
We got a blessing from Grandma Jo and were able to move.
We moved back in with Mimi and G-pa till we could get back on our feet.
I got TWO new nephews!
We moved into the house....

Hasta la vista Binky!!

Miss Hannah has made a huge leap from baby to toddler! We have ditched the binky FINALLY! She has had her binky since she was about 4 months old and hasn't been without it since. She has used her binkies for throwing, sucking, finger puppets (really!), and belly button search vessels. She has had them in the car, in the bed, sometimes even in the bathtub. But no longer will there be an emergency binky search in the dead of night, or her screaming when we lost it in the store, or worrying about germs and rushing to clean it after it fell on the floor of a not so clean restaurant!
Our little girl has graduated to a teddy bear that she calls "Soffy bear" which translates to Softy bear. She seems to be handling it well and hasn't asked for one in the last 24 hours.
So since you will no longer see pictures of her with a binky in her mouth, I have posted a picture from each month of her life (well since she had a binky) with a binky in her mouth. Enjoy them because you will no longer be seeing them!

The Game

I know this is supposed to be Hannah's blog, but I felt that I could share my mommy's day out with you too!
We had a BLAST! It was so much fun. I don't even like baseball and I LOVED it! We had GREAT seats! We were about 100 feet from the Reds dugout and we could see everything! They lost by 1 but thats okay it was really fun!
Hannah had a great time with Mimi and G-pa too! They took her outside and swung her in the swing for a while, then she cuddled on the couch and fell asleep.

The view from our seats.

The city at night!

Between loads of laundry and napping babies....

Tonight we are going to the Reds game with my friend. I am really excited, its been a long time since I have been out without Hannah. Not that I don't LOVE being with her every waking hour and sometimes every sleeping hour too. I love being with my baby, I am actually sad I can't take her with me so that she can enjoy the game too, but a baseball game isn't a place for a toddler. So Mimi and G-pa are coming over to watch her till we get home. I will not get to put my baby to bed.... But I know that they know what they are doing, they raised 2 boys, one of which is my hubby, so they did a good job! But I get a night out, I get to sit in a very hard seat, watch a sport I don't even like, and come home late and get only 6 hours of sleep. But you know what, I bet I will have a great time!!

I have only 28 days till the Florida trip! I am getting really excited! I have started my lists already, I am a bit of an avid list maker. I think its an obsession really. I make lists for just about every thing. We even have a dinner list, of everything for the next two weeks that we are going to eat for dinner. So going on a trip like this is actually fun for me because I get to make a ton of lists to make sure I remember everything. And what is really weird is that I am excited about going to buy a used back pack for our carry on bag, LOL!! Seriously how can someone get excited about going to the thrift store to buy a back pack? Well, apparently, I can!

Hannah has started to say more than 1-2 words at a time. Today she said "I'm proud of you" but it was more like "powd ah you". I was telling her that I was so proud of her for pooping in the potty! LOL....ah the simple things. But she is getting smarter every day, and it amazes me every time she learns something new. She knows every letter of the alphabet by site, and she can say almost the whole alphabet in order!! She can also count to 10 but still seems to leave out 7. Her hair....oh my gosh, her hair.... 5 months ago it was straight with a little wave, now she looks like Shirley Timple!!
Wow, what a difference 5 months can make!!

Florida here we come!!!

YEEEEYYYYY!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Michael bought my plane ticket today and Hannah and I are leaving in 32 days! We are going to be staying with my best friend's mom and her cousin. I am getting SOOOO excited! I am just worried how Hannah will act on the 2 hour flight and sleeping in someone else's house. We are staying from the 16Th to the 23rd. I am so excited and nervous! I am really looking forward to spending a week with them though. She and I have been friends for 17 years!

Yesterday Michael and I took Hannah to the park after dinner and walked about 1 mile around the lake (Hannah slept in her stroller) and then we woke her up and played at the park!
Daddy has been trying to spend more one on one time with her because she really misses him during the day. I think she is really enjoying it, and Michael is too. He isn't much for the outdoors but he does it for her.

This weekend we aren't doing much, we plan to do some light yard work when its not raining and Michael is going to help our neighbor fix her dog house. I think we might go to the library and maybe some grocery shopping. Its so much easier doing grocery shopping in a house. We only have 3 steps to go up instead of 3 FLIGHTS of stairs!!

My little brother won 2 awards yesterday at his ROTC ceremony! And we are hoping that he gets the honor roll one too, but we will have to wait for that one. He has come a long way with his grades and we are really proud of him for doing that!!!
I should probably not write a blog every day, but there are some people who like having a peek at her every day, so I do if for them.
So...enjoy!

Our Home

These are pictures of our house. Its small, I know, but it suits us and I think that bigger is not always better when it comes to houses anyway, I don't want to clean a huge house!!
So here it is!

OUR HOME

This is actually the picture from last summer, but I forgot to take one of the front of the house!

This is my front porch, that little black, blurry thing is my doggy!
I love my porch swing, Hannah and I spend a lot of time there, and Michael likes to read there.

This is the view from my porch.

This is the view from my front door.

LIVING ROOM

This is the view of my living room from the front door (This is about as clean as it gets during the week). That is a baby on the couch sleeping on the blue boppy.

This is actually a picture I took standing on the couch....yes I stood on the couch. And that is another baby sleeping in a bouncy seat. (The only reason I am even able to do this is because of some miracle they are all sleeping at the same time!)

KITCHEN

This is a picture of the eat-in part of the kitchen. Sorry its so dark. You can see the side of the garage out the window.

Our little kitchen. The stove is on the other side of the refridgerator and the you can see the door to the basement and side door as well. I have a double sink, which I LOVE. And no... I do NOT have a dishwasher. I don't mind though.

The window in our kitchen, again sorry about the dark picture. I love my deep double sink though!

BATHROOM

Our bathroom. Yep its a bathroom. Thats Hannah's potty seat to the right.

THE PLAYROOM

The playroom/nursery. Smallest room in the house, but it suits its purpose.

Those poor little boys have to be changed in a pink pack n play and look at fairies dancing over their heads when they are changed. But pink and girly is all I have! LOL

Hannah's books and toys in the play room. It usually stays organized till she wakes up! She LOVES books the whole second shelf is FULL of books. She loves her books!
OUR BEDROOM

Our bedroom. Yes that is a midieval sword hanging on the wall.

HANNAH'S ROOM

Hannah's room. The walls are Dr Suess Truffula trees and Horton. Mimi and I painted this before we even moved in.

See there is Horton! I drew and painted him free hand. I still want to find a cute little stick on gem for the speck on his flower though.

And there is my little princess. Sleeping away with binkies smooshed under her cheek.

Her changing table and her closet to the left.

THE YARD

The swing set and front area of the backyard.

The back yard, our yard goes to the 6ft high privacy fence in the back.

Our mini vinyard! And my little black blurry dog.

My baby grapes! I can't wait till we can eat them!!

And last, my rose bushes that I haven't killed yet!! I don't know why they are still alive, but they are! And they are blooming!! YEY!!! There are 3 of them in the front of the house by the walk way.
Thanks for looking!
