These are Hannah's official One year pictures, even though she still has 2 weeks left till she turns one. We wanted to get them in the park before the weather got yucky, and before her parties!
Enjoy!

Bibbidi Bobbiti Boo!

Hello everyone!!

Yesterday Hannah and I went with G-ma to get Hannah's FIRST PUMPKIN!!
We stopped at the pumpkin patch on the way to Great Aunt Jill's house.
Hannah LOVES just walking around and holding your finger, so that is what she did, she walked EVERYWHERE!! She loved the big pumpkins that were 2 and even 3 times bigger than she is! They must have been a hundred pounds a piece. I really wonder what she thought they were!
We walked around some more, crunching leaves under her shoes (I think that is her favorite part of walking is stepping on things to watch the effect). We found the Field of mums and stood her out in the middle of them and she just stood there, all by herself, not holding on to anything, well except a gourd.
Then we picked up Hannah's little pumpkin, I sat her directly in the big pile of them and the first one she touched I grabbed. Then we headed over to Aunt Jill's house and visited for a while, we ate sushi and curly fries (odd combination, but really good). Hannah had some chicken noodle and cheerios since she can't have sushi yet, I can't wait till he day she can though!
Then we headed to another pumpkin patch, but by that time Hannah had passed out, it was 2pm and her nap time is 12, she was tired. So we stopped and snapped a couple pictures of the huge pumpkin carriage that she missed and picked up a swan gourd. Then we headed back to G-ma and G-pa's house.
We ate dinner (chili, yummmm) and Hannah had her dinner (mashed potatoes and chicken with carrots). Then she played and played and walked and played some more! Then at 8pm she passed out and we left for home...I think we forgot the dog, but I could be wrong, LOL.

She is getting a tooth so didn't sleep very well last night, but she is napping now.
Well that's it for Hannah's first pumpkin story!!

OH OH OH!! I forgot...my sister found out that she is having TWO BOYS!!! SOOO HAPPY!!!!

Well thanks for reading!

The second pumpkin patch (she was sleeping in my arms so I only got one picture)

OH and here is the pumpkin she picked out! Its about the size of a large Grapefruit LOL!

My daughter the.....pilot? Maybe a zoologist?

Right now Hannah is passed out in her crib and I am about to do the same, well not in a crib but....well you know what I mean. I am sooo tired, but before I go to bed I wanted to tell you why I am so tired!
Yesterday we went to the Zoo with my sister and her kiddos and pushed around a hundred pounds in a double stroller. We had her two older ones and her little one and she is pregnant with twins, as I mentioned before. So we had the two little ones, Hannah included, in the double stroller with 3 coolers and two diaper bags in/on the stroller. I pushed it a lot of the time, not wanting my pregnant sister to push something that heavy, and the little girls were tired. But Hannah just sucked it alllllll in! She was mimicking that Gibbon's when we first came in (some monkey thing that hoots), and she LOVED that manatee and the seal exhibits. We stopped for a picnic lunch and while we were eating the peacocks came over to enjoy some of our lunch too! Hannah just stared at them and called them a dog. Then we went to the petting zoo where she pet a bull (called it a dog as well), a goat, and a sheep (probably thought they were all dogs). Then we got tired around the polar bear and decided to leave! It was so much fun though, my sister and I had visions of our little ones doing stuff together when we were pregnant, and now its coming to fruition!
Then today we went to the Air show a couple towns over because hubby's uncle was working there! Hannah loved watching the planes and loved being able to walk around outside. She must have taken her G-pa on a hundred laps walking around the show! LOL
She got to see a lot of planes and also got to see a flight jump where 6 men in old military garb jumped from a plane and parachuted down! It was really neat, and wore her OUT! (She also tried cotton candy for the first time and hated it.)
Then when we got back we ate dinner at G-ma and G-pa's (She ate a huge portion of alfredo pasta with chicken!) Then she walked around and played till she wore herself out. The second we put her in her car seat to go home she passed out. When we got home I took her out of the car and straight into bed. She is so dirty, with dirt and food on her, but she was too tired to even wake up for a clothes change.
Well that's why I am SOOOOO tired!
So I am off to bed!
Oh one other thing...my sister finds out the sex of the babies this Friday! I will update when I find out!!

My little sponge!

Yesterday the Local Museum had a free day where all three museums were totally free! And we ended up getting free parking as well!
We went to the children's museum first, where Hannah played in this huge ball pit. They had this tube that would suck the ball out of your hand and carry it up this tube, Hannah loved that part!
Then they had a little village where there was a kitchen, dining room, diner, post office, bank, you name it, it was there! They also had a section about kids from all over the world, she got to dress up like a girl from India with her colorful scarfs, and a ballerina with a tutu. She got to beat on some drums, and sit in a boat. She drove a bus, and met a turtle (in a tank), and some cockroaches as well!
Then we went to the Natural history and Science museum where she got to see at life size Polar bear, my brave little girl wanted to pet him! LOL! Then we saw all kinds of rocks and gems, and fossils. She got to touch what ever she was allowed to touch. Then we went into the caves (no camera allowed). She was VERY brave! She didn't mind the tight space and echoing voices, or the screeching of the bats. There were water falls everywhere, and she just stuck her little arm out to catch some water. Then we walked into the wilderness where they had all kinds of animals (fake ones, of course). She LOVED the wolf, I think she thought it was a dog that finally held still for her!
Then we went to the History Museum, which is all about our city! Hannah was pretty much out of it by this time and just watched from her stroller, but Hubby and I found all of it pretty interesting. They have a whole town set up to look like the 19th century, even a steam boat to walk on to. Hubby's favorite part was the distillery, they had the history of beer in our city. They had names up there that we still see today and some really popular ones. They also had a medicine shoppe, which I thought was really neat, they had the old time remedies in there, like cod liver oil, and lavender.
After that we went home. It was fun, and free!
Oh and my little sponge sucked up so much information, when we got home she passed out cold! LOL
Enjoy the pictures!

SO FREAKING EXCITED!!

OK I am getting so FREAKING excited about Hannah's first birthday party!!
Carol and I went today to buy some of the decorations for the party. We got little pink lanterns to hang over the outdoor set up, tiaras for the party guest girls, a 1st birthday hat for Hannah, 1st b-day candle, little pink chinese take-out containers for the party favors (for the bigger kids), some party favors, and the happy birthday banner! I already have an abundance of pink balloons from the play dates.
The theme is going to be Pink and Brown! I already made the invites (above, of course I blocked out the address and phone number!) I am very proud of my invite making ability!
My mom is making her cakes for the party and is doing a pink and brown polka dotted on with a girly teddy on top! And for her smash cake its going to be pink and brown, but its going to be light on the icing, and have organic cake.
I already have her pink and brown dress for her pictures and party all picked out. I am going to do the pictures, its just too expensive to have them done, and I can do them just as well.
I just had to share, I am so FREAKIN excited!! I don't have any expectations, just happy to get her to one year and have everyone celebrating with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for reading!!!!!!!

The Happiest little Camper!

Hello everyone!!
Hannah's first time camping and going to a beach is over. Her diaper bag still smells of pit fire and sun screen but our clothes have long lost this odor due to laundry day.
Thankfully camping with a 10 month old wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. She slept okay as long as she was sleeping with us. It was too cold for her to sleep in the pack and play even with a winter sleeper (size 18 months by the way!WOW) and a hat she was still freezing.

Well I will start from the beginning of Hannah's adventure!!
Day one:
We left for G-ma and G-pa's after Daddy got home from work and drove with the yappy dog over to their house so that they could pet sit for us (THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!!). Then after visiting for about 30 minutes we were on our way.
After a LONG 2 1/2 hour drive we arrived! The lake was BEAUTIFUL! We first parked next to a light house (wish I would have gotten a picture :( oh well), anyway, there were some sort of water bird, a seagulls or something, flying around and Hannah was enthralled!
Then we headed over to the campground, got our site set up and headed over to the restaurant to eat dinner since it was too late to cook (it was about 8 when we got there and 9 when we ate). After dinner we headed back, put the baby to sleep and headed off to bed ourselves. About 12 Hannah came to bed with us. She woke up once to eat a warm bottle and get her wet diaper changed and fell back to sleep and woke up at 8 am! We were very happy she slept so well.
Day two:
Well we woke up around 8 am and my Step Dad had cooked pancakes and bacon for breakfast! YUMMMMMMM! Hannah LOVES pancakes by the way! LOL.
Then we sat around figuring out what to do. Daddy took Hannah for a walk around 11am and she fell asleep and napped for about 2 hours. Then we ate lunch, spaghetti and meatballs, Hannah liked that too!
Then my sister and her family came over from their lake house and we went to the beach (picture included!) Her little guy (about 7 months older than Hannah) was so cute! He was splashing and eating sand, and holding Hannah's hand, I got a picture of it, you can see it if you are on my myspace page! Hannah LOVED the water! She was splashing and picking up sand and letting it fall through her hands! She got some in her mouth and didn't really like it so didn't do it again. She just loved watching her cousins play. She would giggle and squeal when the waves would hit her in the stomach! I loved watching her discover things there, she picked up sticks and leaves and sand and would examine it closely trying to figure out what it is, and after telling her what it was she would be content with that and go to on to discover another oddity.
After the beach ( I NOW HATE SAND BY THE WAY) we showered thoroughly and headed back to relax at the camp site. We put her in the super yard with some toys and read our books, she was fine with that and so were we. We were so proud that she played so well by herself. Her cousins came back over later and played with her as well. Later we ate dinner, bean/ham/potato stew stuff, I don't know the exact name but, OH MY GOSH! It was Delicious, even Hannah loved it! After dinner we took a walk down to another dock and let her swing in the baby swings. (Picture included!). Then we put her to bed around 8pm and stayed up to watch the fire while everyone went fishing (not our thing). We watched the little ones, who were fast asleep in their beds, until my step dad and brother got back then we hit the air mattress, taking Hannah to bed with us. She woke up once and then woke up at 8am.
Day three:
I took a picture of what I woke up to (the very first picture above) it made me smile so I had to take a picture.
After breakfast we packed up and headed to pick up that yappy dog, Denna.
We stayed for a while, ate our lunch, and let Hannah and G-pa play for a while (picture included below!).
We headed home, unpacked, and washed the camping smell out of our belongings.
We plan on doing another camping trip next year to visit Michael's Grandfather at another lake, about 4 hours away. Until then I keep catching whiffs of campfire and sunscreen and I get flash backs of sun and sand and I smile.
The smell will fade soon, and all I will have is memories and pictures of Hannah's very first camping trip, and her first time at a beach!
Thanks for reading!
