13 days....and the countdown begins!

In 13 days Hannah and I will be traveling to Florida to spend a week with my best friend! I am REALLY REALLY excited! I am worried about the flight, of course. I will have a wiggly toddler on my lap for 2 hours. I think I have figured out how to resolve some of it though.

I am going to buy about $5 worth of dollar store (toddler friendly) toys and coloring books and crayons, and not let her see them till the flight. Then I am allowed to bring dry snacks for her, and I can fill up her sippy cup after we get through security. I am also going to bring some books for her. I think that will suffice. But just my luck, I will do all this and she will sleep the whole time. That's fine though, LOL.

Friday is our play date, thankfully, I need some adults to talk to! Movers and shakers is fine, but we aren't really talking a lot, its more of a singing, moving thing. Its hard with the twins because I really want to keep them happy, but at the same time, this is Hannah's time. So I have to split my time of course. I don't' have a problem doing it, its just a little stress full. Sometimes Paige has to take over Hannah for me... :(

The boys are getting bigger and bigger every day. They are starting to want to roll over when they are on their backs and L. has actually accomplished this many times!!
They are about 4 months old (almost 5) now and can hold their heads up and smile and laugh!
A friend of mine is letting me borrow a bumbo so that I can sit them up for entertainment, its good for their strength too. They were premature, so developmentally they are only 3 months old. Sitting up isn't even on their minds yet I don't think, LOL...they just want to eat, sleep, poop, and be entertained. Hannah LOVES them! She can say P's name, but not L's. She calls him "Baby". She will hold their bottles for them, burp them (pats them on the back), sing to them, rock their bouncy chairs, bring me burp cloths, and shows them her toys if I ask her to. She is such a big help!!
After a weekend without baby sitting them, I find myself missing them, and when I see them on Monday, WOW, they seem like they grow every time!

So my lists are done for the trip. We have a small shopping trip to make before we go, I need some stuff for Hannah and some stuff for me. We saw this thing that is made by OFF! that we are getting. I really like the idea of it. Its a fan that has a 10 foot radius of bug protection and its safe to use around kids, as long as they don't lick it of course! So we got a really good coupon for BOGO free and we are going to get that. Then I have to get the toys I talked about, Hannah needs a new sun hat because hers is too small now, I am getting a diva cup (bottom paragraph) and we need some snacks for the trip! So after we do that, I will be done. I plan on starting to pack next week. Slowly, I don't want to forget anything....hence the lists!!!

Okay so now for the Diva Cup. This is women talk...if you don't want to read it don't scroll down... just walk away now! I am warning you!

Okay so the Diva cup:

I am getting one the Friday after next before AF decides to make her way to my house.
I have always hated tampons and pads so when I heard about this product I was elated!! Its a silicone cup that, well, it does what a tampon does, but less messy and less gross. You can leave it in for 12 hours at a time, reducing TSS, eliminating the need to carry a hoard of feminine products in your diaper bag for your toddler to pull out and start playing with when your not looking....yeah... *blushing* . It also reduces the number of tampons/pads that are being thrown into landfills with our bodily fluids on them....okay lets all cringe together....EWW ~~~**
So I am really excited about getting it, and really excited about trying it! I am getting it right before my trip. Of course I am going to start on my trip, when else would mother nature decide to drop that on me? So if I can't get the hang of the DC then I guess its back to the old cotton cork. Wish me luck you weird people who are actually reading this!!!
